Every search assignment is staffed by one lead and one support consultant working with one or more research associates. Our consultants have a combination of Middle Eastern and international executive search and business experience in different industries. Our research associates have post-graduate qualifications, extensive executive research experience in various industries, are well-trained and have worked in numerous search assignments in the Middle East.

Our founder and lead consultant, Mr. Haider Shaif, holds an MBA from the Cranfield School of Management, as well as an MSc in Civil Engineering from Southampton University in the U.K. and a BSc in Civil Engineering from King Abdul Aziz University in Jeddah. Mr. Shaif last served as Managing Director, Middle East and North Africa, of Egon Zehnder International, a leading international executive search firm, and has previously held a variety of senior posts across various industries. Prior to joining EZI, Mr. Shaif served as Marketing Director at Abdul Latif Jameel Group in Jeddah, the largest distributors of Toyota automobiles outside Japan. Prior to joining ALJ, Mr. Shaif worked at the National Commercial Bank (NCB), one of the largest banking institutions in the Middle East, where he had filled several positions, notably as Director of Product & Business Development, Area Manager, Director of Central Marketing and as Senior Investment Officer. At the earliest stages of his career, Mr. Shaif worked in the field of engineering and planning at Dar Al Handasah Consultants, one of the leading engineering consultancy firms, in London.
